USB Charging E260 with Build r19770-090114

Noticed that when my E260 is plugged into a docking station it turns on, it proceeds through the Boot Screen to the Now Playing Screen (as I have set it to do).  Instead of playing as it normally does, a white screen appears with a faint image of a USB symbol and then the player reboots.  This happens ad infinitum (well at least 4 times as I unplugged the player).

I've reverted to Release 3.1.

r19770 usb charging causes endless restarts.

This is my forst post. Educate me with ergard to protocol. Direct me to the proper forum.

After reading changelog 20090112 (http://www.rockbox.org/daily/changelogs/changes-20090112.html) I applied r19770 to my Sansa e280 and my Sansa e260 (v1 & v1). I was hoping for RockBox/Sansa charging. But now when I plug my Sansas in they both just reboot RockBox over and over and over. I have tried this on data cables and power-only cables.

It works fine with r19770 on my e280.  Maybe you aren't holding the right button.

I am not holding any button. There are no instructions that suggest I hold a button.

What instructions are you reading that suggest a special button-hold? What button are you holding that overcomes a r19770 cyclic-reboot on Sansa e200v1?
