Skipping tracks in "Repeat One" mode?
« on: January 14, 2009, 02:21:55 AM »
I love Rockbox in general - the one complaint I have is that it's not possible to easily go between songs in the playlist when in "Repeat One" mode. Basically, what I'd like is for the normal track-navigation behavior of the forward and back keys to be preserved, while the song will repeat if left to its own devices. Is there a particular reason why Rockbox doesn't do this?

Sometimes it's simply a case of "nobody's written it." Remember that it's also a volunteer project, this hasn't bothered anyone enough for them to write a patch resolving it, and then following through to address any issues people find, I assume.
