how do you fix broken or out-of-date theme
Chronon:
Did you install the theme that you want to debug in the simulator? Can you describe the steps you're performing in detail?
keepsake:
Using rockboxui, apply the theme, and see what comes up in the black window/white text. If it reports an error (specifying a line number) when you try to apply the theme, then you know what the broken part is. Consult the wps manual to find out what the updated syntax is.
ilovehayden101:

It appears like the files weren't correctly extracted. When you open the the .zip file for a theme, it should have a folder named .rockbox in it. Drag this folder into the same folder .rockbox is in (on your MP3 player), and it will prompt you to merge. Select "all", then try again.
ilovehayden101:
the zip file doesnt have a .rockbox folder.. i just make one right?
so their should be a .rockbox folder in my .rockbox folder (that located in my MP3 drive)
