Why not Creative Zen?

Hi. Im new here. I discovered rockbox a week ago and now im interested.
I wanted to ask why rockbox isnt available for creative zen and is available for others zens like ZVM. In a rockbox page, i read that its similar to ZVM, so...?.I thing also that Creative Zen is more popular than other players that are developing.
what do you think?

Popularity of a player has little to do with whether Rockbox is ported to that player.  If Rockbox has not been ported to a particular player it is most likely because (a) no-one who owns the player has invested the time necessary to port Rockbox to that player, or (b) encryption makes it difficult or impossible to port to that player, or (c) some combination of (a) and (b).

To get a sense of the effort that is necessary to port Rockbox to a new platform, read this page:

Incidentally, we have a board in these forums for discussion of new ports.  The purpose of this board is for requesting features for Rockbox, not for requesting that Rockbox be ported to a new platform.  There is already a thread in the new ports forum on the Zen:
