Rockbox will not Play selections

Hello to all, when I make a selection the player displays a "/" and it says "root".

Removal and Reinstall does not help. Browsing the files of the player, I don't see anything unusual.
This is version 3.1. The player operates fine with its native OS.

Update: Fixed, Deleted hidden "Rockbox" folder in player and reinstalled from scratch

 ;)

As a note, the .rockbox folder *is* Rockbox, so if by "Removal and Reinstall" you were just removing then readding the bootloader then I understand why nothing happened.  It sounds like the initial extraction got corrupted somehow
