Rockbox to look like conventional iPod software
« on: January 04, 2009, 11:32:53 AM »
i think rockbox could be a lot more appealing if it didn't look like command promt. i was wondering if somone could add graphics to the menus so it looks good.

Way ahead of you:

And you can always create or add a new theme to suit your taste. But even the default theme (above) hardly looks like a "command prompt" to me.

the rockbox default theme is pretty bad:S

Surely an objective opinion?  I think the default is very good.

Indeed, another great feature of Rockbox.  I would fight to the death anyone trying to make my mp3 player look like an ipod, but thankfully, thanks to themes, we can have different looks!

Seconded. I have no idea what he means either!
I've never seen a command prompt which looks anything like the Rockbox theme!

I know there is a "dos" theme somewhere which has the lovely colours and look of edit back in the day :p

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
