c240 mac installation problems

OK, I'm not seeing my particular problem listed here anywhere.

I've tried to install onto my new c240 refurb, V1, set to MSC, using the auto installer for Mac, but what repeatedly happens is the program says it cannot read/write to the sansa.

So I tried manually installing and get to the point where I've double clicked sansapatcher to activate the terminal application, but terminal aborts saying that there are two sansa drives and I should restart with only one. Two drives show up in disk utility every time I plug in the sansa even though I have no micro card in the unit. There appears no way to eliminate one.

I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved. I tried installing on a different Mac and it worked.
