30g pod wont play or file music in rockbox mode

Just installed rockbox and doom for the first time and the firmware worked great
when i first used it without any add ons but when i downloaded doom and didnt
know what i was getting in to, and i my have dragged and dropped doom files in to my ipods [ROOT]?folded and After this it dose nothing i drag and drop same files to .rockbox folder and worked fine i was playing doom but now i cant play songs in rockbox mode just says the name of song and then flashes(ROOT) twice and nothing.So now i have to go back and forth from regular ipod  to rockbox mode to play music and games.This is some what time consuming going back and forth like this i know this firm ware dosnt work this way unless i did something wrong when moving files or something. I just want to use rockbox and not have to go back and forth to play songs or games.

Sounds like your install got corrupted.  Try reinstalling.
