WPS Changes in 3.1 Release

In the release notes for the latest 3.1 version, under the 'What's New' category is a bullet:

Is there a listing anywhere or explanation of exactly what these new feaures are? And how they affect (if at all) existing WPS's or themes?

It shouldn't affect 3.0-compatible WPSes at all.

I don't believe there's an explicit list of new features, but you can look at the Change history of the CustomWPS page, or the MajorChanges page, to find them.

I checked both the Change history and Major Changes page and couldn't find anything on it.

Although it MAY just be a 'typo', as there are no WPS changes listed for 3.1 release in the 'Major Changes', but if you scroll down to the changes for 3.0 there are several listed there which we already know about.

I'm thinking that whoever updated the 'What's New' listing just forgot to delete the bullet about the WPS changes in the 3.0 version.

Being a newcomer here, I'm only guessing, but does that sound logical?

Two changes since 3.0 that come to mind, that affect WPS, are Album Art resizing and the %mv tag. The customisable quickscreen might fall into this category as well...

There's also the settings tag (here) that, unless I'm mistaken, was added in 3.1.
