Video 60GB hangs on boot

OK, I've been away for a long time.
I was using rockbox-jbuild-20060830-ipodvideo-64MB for the last 2 years, then I read about the new and exciting 3.1 so i thought time to update.
I chucked it on by replacing the old .rockbox file, as i had remembered from 2 years ago. now it just hangs. What i have i done wrong, has rockbox changed something or is it non compatible?
I have loaded it up as disk mode and re installed the old .rockbox file that i had, but still just hangs.

Any help please people.

Well, it appears that the old bootloader was a little out of date, so i updated the bootloader and guess what, i'm back...fark i love rockbox.

gets no better.

thanks, have to say i am impressed with the build...it is great to be looking again...never stopped loving my ipod with rockbox, now i have just found a new way to love... :D

the wife and daughter got ipod nano's and boy do i remember why i got rid of itunes! fark, talk about painful....
