260r malfunction with rock box software

hi had rockbox installed -worked. hooked it up to usb usually reverts to sansdisk so i can add tunes- error msg dsays can t load. so i unplug and turn on mp3 regular and i get error msg on that too it cant load rockbox.


now i tried recovery and its all f'd up tried manufacturing and all i get is that my computer recognizes it but to go thru vista device wizard it asks about a disk  and other options are files on my computer?

now that i done all this on turn on it splashes sansa

load main image failed
switch to recovery mode


i can get to that 16mb and do the sansa .fmt and other stuff on the unbrick page and it doesnt work.

by the way your website directions to do things are vague at times

Your first paragraph is so vague I don't even know what to tell you.
I would try following the instructions to remove rockbox and reload the original firmware first then reload Rockbox.

You mention following some instructions on the "unbrick" page.  Please be specific about what you tried and what results you observed.  We don't know any of these details and it's impossible to offer much help without them.
