Rockbox splash screen flashing on bootup

I'm having trouble getting Rockbox to boot properly with my Sansa c250.  I installed manually as specified, however, on bootup Rockbox splash screen just flashes continually.  I can only get it to revert to SanDisk firmware.  Any ideas?  Help!

Did you encounter problems with the automatic installation?

I had to do a manual install....it would not auto recognize my c250 when I ran the utility.

The utility uses the exact same code sansapatcher uses to detect players. There shouldn't be any difference in what they detect. What version did you try, of each?

I used the rockbox-sansac200-3.0.zip (Windows) and the sansapatcher.exe (only saw one version on this).

News Flash!!!  I got the auto install utility to work...I guess I had not specified the location of the player.  My mistake.

My next question is: will Rockbox work with SDHC cards (4/8GB)?  I have read some info (not on this forum) saying that it will.

Yes, it will, but the original firmware still will not so you'll either need to use a card reader, or copy files from the player to the card within Rockbox.

So, if I copy files to a microSDHC card using my card reader, Rockbox will be able to access them?
