weak signal FM stereo
« on: December 19, 2008, 07:46:56 AM »
This was brought up in another forum and someone suggested posting here. I don't know if it is in software control or buried in the chip.

With a weak FM signal as a step less drastic than forcing mono, you can reduce the noise by reducing and/or bandpass filtering the separation (L-R) signal so it is effectively only stereo in the midrange.
