need help on a fix[AlbumArt,wps]

Just as the title, I need help on a fix.

Problem:The AlbumArt does not resize

The wps I'm trying to fix is "rayboradio_OB"
It is designed for a iPod 5Gen/5.5Gen(iPod Video)

The above seems to be newest, so I am making changes on it.(for personal use)


I did fix the position of the Progress Bar

The Other problem is the AlbumArt:

there doesn't seem to be anything wrong.

but when I use a BMP image larger then the 100x100square,
the part of the image that does not fit will be cut.

Why is this?

I updated the theme you'll find on the wiki http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/WpsIpod5g#rayboradio_OB_rayboradio_for_Off after the version you referred, as indicated there (July 10th update vs. forum post date June 26th), and the progress bar parameters are the same you posted... I don't know if the version you mentioned from the forums post had any bugs.

Edit: I just tried my version running the latest build and resizing works perfectly... perhaps you should take the wiki's download as a base for your modifications.
What size is your bmp... as far as I know, in resizing, there is a size limit for the "imput" image (512x512?)

I didn't know the theme was i the wiki. - I shoud have done a better search
I overwrited the contents of the ZIP to my iPod, and loaded the theme.

somehow, it still doesn't seem to work.

Thinking the image was somehow the culprit, I tried a few other BMPs.
this is what it's doing:

100x100 - displays it normally
50x50     - displays it in the center of 100x100 square
200x200 - displays it aligned to the top left corner of the 100x100 square
                 (it displays the first 100x100 top left part of the image.
                  this is probably what it does when the resize is not working)

the depth/bit was not in question.
I used the windows paint(preinstalled) to make the BMPs.

If it isn't the images that are wrong, I don't know what is.
I will close this topic if no solution is found - maybe in a week or so.
(I could use a 100x100 after all.)

It is the current(ver.3.0-something) release for "iPod Video 30GB".
 

Version 3.0 does not resize album art.
The current build does.

Which are you using?

Edit:  Actually since your album is not resizing, so you're probably not using the current build.  Try updating to a recent version and see what happens.
