big problems with new (stable) build, both 140 and 340
floatingkiwi:
(complete post concerning h140)
Well, I have tried the binary method of searching for the problem with bad results, and another problem:
I went through the process and appeared to find the folder that was causing the "*PANIC* Stkov tagcache" freeze. However now the database creation process would just stop with no database being created, with the message "Building database...565 found (STOP to return)" which won't go away - however the player is not freezing, just can't create the database or play music. So I thought I'd delete everything off the player and install Rockbox 3.0 again and try to create the database - still the above error with no files apart from Rockbox folder on the player! arggh.
So, then put back the supposed *PANIC* creating folder to try and reproduce that error - and I can't! it still stops on the "Building database.." error and won't create anything.
Any thoughts? I have tried this on Rockbox 3.1 as well with no results.

Llorean:
There's no "version 3". Rockbox 3.0 or version 3.0 is a specific release, one singular build. It wasn't released in November, so if it started in November, you were using something newer than 3.0.
