Don't see my music folder on my PC

(1/1)

bloodbath:
I just updated my sansa  C2xx player with the latest version of Rockbox.  After reconnecting my Sansa the PC, the original Sansa firmware loads.  I am trying to find my music on the Sansa (I had a folder called "My Music", but I can't find the folder.  I know it exists since I see it when I start my player (not connected to the computer).  I want to add more music, but I'm not sure how to do so since the folder doesn't appear.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

You probably have your operating system set to not show hidden files.

I checked this but it is set to show hidden files.  I do not see a .rockbox folder either.  When I go to My Computer, I see Music, Photos, and Albums folders.  These are the original Sansa folders I believe.  Is there anything I need to hold/push on the Sansa as I connect the player?  I know if I slide the Hold button to on and press the Power button down, it puts me in another mode), that shows the drive generically and has know files or folders.  If I hold the select button when I connect, Rockbox loads, but my computer doesn't recognize it.

Nevermind; I figured it out.  I must have unknowingly updated the Sansa firmware and had to downgrade it to version 0.1.0.1.00 (it was 0.1.0.1.05).  After doing this, I could put it into MSC mode.  That resolved the problem.

There is a c200 FAQ about firmware versions both 0.1.0.1.05 & 0.1.0.07 the latest can be used
the later easiest as it has a usb menu
