Rockbox with Linux??

newby here,

I just got this e250 from Froobi and now I want to load a bunch of mp3's up into it.  But, I didn't get any SanDisk CD with it and so I don't have the SanDisk Media Converter.  Proly cuz it's refurb, they didn't send the CD, I guess.

Ennyhow, I have Linux here and I was wondering if I can do something useful with that to load some mp3's.  I didn't see mention of Linux in the Sansa Rockbox PDF manual in the TOC anyhow.  I have yet to read all 179 pages tho.

Any Linux help available?

This isn't a question about how to install Rockbox. Questions about the original firmware's use should go to Sandisk.

If you'd like help with Rockbox, install it first. If you'd like help installing Rockbox (which does not require any MP3s on the device), please ask about that in a new thread.
