Adding songs to playlist
Seaningtime:
I did open it in notepad, and I just changed the .mp3 to .flac, that didn't work and I don't understand why, am I doing something wrong?
Chronon:
If your playlist now contains references to only .flac files then there's no way that playback of .mp3 files should occur. Is it possible that you have an old copy of the playlist lying around that is confusing things (e.g. editing one then playing the other)?
JdGordon:
can you upload your m3u somewhere?
Seaningtime:
No, there is no way that I have two of the same playlists. I only have 2 playlists total and I am changing one of them... Here is what my playlist looked like before and after

And I have the files in the exact same folder labelled the exact same thing. One thing I did notice however is that the mp3s have the artist name, album and track number next to the file name, the flac do not (I think iTunes did this)
i.e. There is name, artist, album, track number, genre, and rating headings in the folder and the flac files only have name filled out (I am running windows vista).
When I play the file on the ipod rockbox says the file format is .mp3, and if I delete the mp3s from the folder (Leaving only flac) then rockbox will skip to the next available song
I also just looked for the files on my ipod and they are all showing up in the file directory
Chronon:
Do the flac's play if you select them from the file browser?
