How do get my toshiba f40 to play songs? (more problems)

(1/4) > >>

bsrkoacar:
I just downloaded rockbox and my gigabeat wont play any songs.  I have downloaded many of my songs, is that why they wont play?

Llorean:
Are they .mp3 files, or .sat files? Rockbox can't play .sat, as they're encrypted.

bsrkoacar:
OK Ive looked up how to remove sat encryption but im having troubles.  I downloaded windows file explorer and ive turned "display hidden files" on but i still cant find X:\GBSYSTEM\FWIMG.  I cant find GBSYSTEM on my computer ether.  Im starting to get frustrated so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chronon:
If you are using XP then you must also uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" option in order for the GBSYSTEM or FWIMG directories to be visible in Windows Explorer.  You should still be able to get there by typing the correct path into the address bar even if they are invisible, though.

bsrkoacar:
I unchecked the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) off and i still cant find GBSYSTEM.  There is GBSYSTEM on my gigabeat so i know it should show up in My Computer. I used auto install is that creating problems?
