Sansa e250- where to download sansanpatcher (in which directory)

I have purchased sansas e250.  I thankful to all Rockbox team who have created this wonderful software for MP3 player.  I would request you to please clarify the following point while downloading the rockbox to my sansa e250.

1. where the zip to be downloaded was clearly explained in the instruction manual.

2.But my point is you not  have explained about where to download the SANSAPATCHRER.  Whether it should be downloaded directly to my sansa directory or else
to my desktop (any other directory).

Please clarify the same and also incorporate the same in Manual Download Installation instructions.

sansapatcher should be downloaded and run from your computer, not the e250.

Using RockboxUtility (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/RockboxUtility) is the simple way to install.

It doesn't matter, its just a program.  You can download it to a floppy disk if you like.

thanks for your prompt early reply. you have clarified my doubt.  but i request Rockbox team to incorporate the same in the "Manual Downloading" instructions in order to avoid further confusion.

I once again thankful to the entire Rockbox team who have created this wonderful software.

You're welcome to submit a patch or a textual file containing the specific modifications you propose to the patch tracker.
