archos jukebox recorder v1 digital out won´t work

Dear All,

i use 2 of those archos jukebox recorder v1 nearly each day since i have bought them.

Now i want to get better sound, thru digital out on my active speakers (Behringer MS40)

But i have problems to get sound out of speakers.
I connect the jukebox digital out with a short cable 3,5  stereo to chinch (i tryed red and white chinch plug) but no sound.

I checked the speakers by digital out from DVD player and everything worked fine.

What can i do next ? I also ckecked the signal from jukebox by osciloscop -> there is a strong signal but it seams to be in another language :-[

I will appreciate any help
