New hardware recommendation

I'm looking at buying myself a new PMP in the near future, and am wondering if anyone else has done so recently and what they'd recommend.

I've recently installed Rockbox on my wife's iriver H10, and I have to say it's been a positive experience thus far. 

I quite like the newer iriver players, but am not particularly set on a manufacturer.  We recently bought my father in law an iriver E100 (Currently ~ AUS$160), which has made him pretty happy.  My price range is around $100- 200.   Something like that, but Rockbox compatible, would be right up my alley. I'll be using Amarok on Linux, and am in Sydney, Australia if that makes any difference to anyone's recommendations.

My backup plan is to buy an older model that's on the known-supported list from eBay or bricks-and-mortar used gear shop.  Any recommendations for new hardware would be much appreciated.

  I searched the forums, but didn't check the docs index.  Thanks for the (so far!) lack of RTFM type responses.

I think I'll print a copy of the buyers guide table and see what I can find locally.
