Enable Sound in Rockbox.

So im playing Pokemon yellow and am experiencing the thing where the game freezes when you go to heal. Through research, I have found that this is fixed by enabling sound in Rockbox.
-I have searched through the menu and cannot find where to enable it. Help on this would be appreciated.
-I have tried turning up the db, but that doesn't seem to work.

Hey just figured out my own question. To disable the sound you access the rockboy menu that comes up with the hold key and the option is in there..under options..

I imagine disabling sound would increase FPS, but I don't know which rockboy menu is being referred to in the OP. Could someone help me disable sound in Rockboy? (I did a search, but couldn't find a thread on the topic already. Sorry if one already exists.)

The button used to call up the menu might differ between targets (check the manual for your target).  For an iPod Video, for example, when you're in the game, you flick the "hold" switch on (and then off again so that you can actually select things).

That was embarrassing. I confused the "select" key for the "hold" key.

We must never speak of this again.

I think you need to get Hold of yourself, or Select a nicer tone when talking to me.
