No sound on e250

I just installed rockbox 3.0 using the autoinstaller, and I'm not getting any sound when I play files or radio. If I load in original firmware, the problem isn't there. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

I've done a couple re-installs, one with, and one without the autoinstaller. Same problem. This player has had rockbox before, but it's had the sansa firmware updated since then. Any chance that could be causing issues?

I have to ask the obvious question to start:  what is your volume setting?

I've tried it at a bunch of different db levels just in case. No luck.

I have no idea if this will help, but you could try resetting your settings.  Your hardware seems to work and other people with e2x0s don't have this problem, so we should try to eliminate any factors that may separate your case from those that work. 

If you suspect that your (original) firmware version is part of the problem then why not post which version it is and we can see if others successfully use that firmware version or not.

As far as I know, you and the original poster are the only people who have experienced this issue.   And you haven't given us enough information regarding the problem you are experiencing to provide any meaningful feedback to you.   For example:

What version of the original firmware is on your player?
Does you experience the same issue in the original firmware?
Have you experienced the same issue with prior Rockbox builds?
What is your volume setting in Rockbox?
Do the files you are trying to play work if played back on a computer?

You're missing the point.  You are one of only two people who has reported this issue.  Since the issue is not being reported by other users, there is no way for us to identify the problem, let alone recommend to you a build that might work around the problem.  I suggest that you try some other builds yourself to see if earlier builds have the same issue for you as you are reporting here.   If you can find an earlier build that works for you, we can then try to identify the specific build in which this bug (if it is a bug) was introduced.

Also, you did not answer my question about what version of the original firmware is on your player.

I tried another build and things are working well. 
I'm going to evaluate for a few days,

I was having the same problem this morning using a Sansa e250.  I put rockbox on last night so I could use my 8gb SDHC card.  I'm using r20189-090303 and boot version 5.0.

This morning I tried playing a song I had copied to my SDHC card.  That worked fine.  Then I tried to play a 2nd song from the card and I got no audio.  I check my sound levels and everything seemed fine.  I then tried to play music off of the player's included RAM and got no audio there as well.  Eventually I gave up and restarted the player.  My music works now.
