missing tracks
« on: December 04, 2008, 01:38:57 PM »
I have an album of mp3 files that won't show in rockbox, but do show in the Sansa e200 firmware.

The only thing I can think of that distinguishes them is they are old, encoded with a ~1999 Xing encoder, maybe an older tag format? Sansa firmware (and all players on the PC) show ok tags for artist, album, track name.

I took one of the tracks and transcoded to a Lame mp3 and now it shows in the rockbox database.

Rockbox supports ID3v1 and ID3v2.x tags, what format are the tags in, exactly?

DBpoweramp says:  contains Album Art, ID tag [ID3v2.3 (ANSI) & ID3v1.0]
Foobar says:             Tag Type : id3v2|id3v1

Edit: the player is a sansa e200, rockbox version r19207-081124
