"No Ipods found"

Hey, I finally found my Ipod mini and I wanted to put Rockbox on it. I put it on the Ipod fine the first time but then I found Ipod Linux and tried that out but when I decided I wanted Rockbox back on it it will say "No Ipods found" when I try to install it. Also, in the configure utility when I auto detect for the Ipod it shows up. Does anyone know what I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Have you tried restoring the iPod in iTunes first?

I can't because when ever I open itunes it says "The software required for communicating with the iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the iPod's software." Ho Whoops, I guess I didn't read it all the way through. Thanks that worked. :)
