Hack: H120 with USB charge but....

Is this mod safe?  Earlier today I read in a different thread that the H140 may be damaged by under-rated chargers.

Totally safe. I've been using a boxwave sync+charge cable for years and it does electrically the same exact thing as this mod would do.



But there would be no way to choose between "disk mode + charge" and "rockbox + change" on the H1x0 player.

This would be a very welcome addition to the rockbox code, but there is little interest since it is very particular.

With a cable like that, wouldn't choosing be as simple as "when you don't need USB mode, don't plug in the USB plug on the player side, just the other two heads"?
