Rockbox installed on H140 and freezing on boot-up

(1/1)

lat:
I dropped my H140 into the ground one month ago, the HDD was broken, I couldn't boot up even in usb-mode, and I brought a TOSHIBA 60GB 1.8" MK6006GAH - HARD DRIVE insted. The player worked great with the original firmware but when i installed rockbox and tried to boot the player it did stop at the first screen that tells about the voltage etc. I had the old version on my rockbox before and it worked fin. I did format the new HDD with Northon PartitionMagic in FAT 32 before I installed Rockbox. How can I solve this problem?

AlexP:
What is the bootloader saying when it freezes?

lat:
It says:

Rockbox boot loader
Version 6
Batt: 4.13V

It freezes at this screen. I have tried to pushed other buttoms in this state and even been holding them for a few seconds but nothing happened. I can start the original firmware via the rec buttom.

tab:
You might want to check your partition. Rockbox needs it to be a primary partition.

lat:
The issue was that the disk was formated as a logical one. Rockbox works now fine. Thanks for your help.
