data abort at 00000001 (0)

tried to play a movie file. the player froze and reported "Data abort at 00000001 (0)."  i cannot turn off or restart the player. currently letting the battery run down.

any suggestions?

Most players have a hardware-based method of forcing a reset or power off.  Sansas, iPods, Gigabeats, the coldfire irivers and the MR-100 definitely have this.  What player do you have?

You should be able to hold the Power button for 15 seconds or more to get it to turn off.

If this is repeatable with this video file please file a bug report with a link to the file (or maybe you can mail it tos someone if they are interested in fixing it.
