SanDisk Sansa e260v2 - Not recognized by sansapatcher
lswest:
Okay, so I was trying to install the current build firmware and bootloader onto my Sansa e260v2, since the utility couldn't detect my player. I realize the v2 doesn't seem to be supported by the final release, but I thought I'd try out the current build. Anyways, long story short:
The sansapatcher fails to recognize my player.
The player is in MSC mode, connected, XP recognizes it (haven't yet tried it in Arch or Ubuntu).
The Rockbox utility doesn't even recognize the device in system info.

Any suggestions would be nice. I also fully realize there may be no solution for this, since it's not yet supported. Sansapatcher also just says "no e200 devices found".
Thanks in advance for any responses.
P.S. I also checked the forum for any previous threads, but didn't see any describing quite what I faced with the device.
Llorean:
If you know it's not supported, what are you trying to ask?
The "not supported" on the front page applies to "current build" not just the release version.
It doesn't work with your player.
lswest:
Okay, that's all I was trying to find out. I wasn't sure if the current build (checking the info on the current build devel info seemed that it was running on the e260v2, I may have misread that though) supported it.
Thanks for the quick response.

Llorean:
The info on the current build is the list of supported players on the front page...
lswest:
I just expanded on what I meant. Never mind then, feel free to lock the thread if you wish, my question was answered.
Thanks again, and hopefully the v2 will be supported in the future?
