Not really New--- can't find thread--- Can't copy pp5022.mi4 to device root!!!

I'm halfway thru  Rockbox install, but when i drag pp5022.mi4 to e280r, it either asks me to drop into "internal memory" Or "smartcard"  OR  "Device will accept music, photo and sundry files only" What do I do? I can't find that thread that had almost the same problem!!!!!!!

It sounds like your device is in MTP mode (or whatever the equivalent for the e200R series is called, I recall they have different names). You need to change the USB mode.
