OK so im on osx leopard... ipod nano 2gb 1st gen and its at fat32. hooked it up to the mac and its in disk mode... autodetect doesnt work, manual pick doesnt work...
i dont get it. any help?
oh and ive already downloaded rockbox utiity... works fine, but keepd saying path is invalid.

Well, if autodetection doesn't work bootloader installation will fail. This is at least true for Ipods (and Sansas). Posting the output of the About / System Info dialog of Rockbox Utility might be helpful.
