Language problem with my S60

(1/1)

tyip0217:
Hi, few week early my gigabeat had this message to tell to recover the firmware and after using the recovery tool I found on the net I somehow lost all the non-Latin languages seemed to have all disappeared, after few days of battling with installing rockbox thinking that will help with the language, but only success half way, the hiragana and katagana (Japaneses, but no kanji) the Chinese and Korean  fonts seems to be missing, anyone know how I can put them back on.

edit: just tried to change the language on rockbox, on korean mode every letter just dissappeared, not even squares left now, and I can't seems to change back the language, can someone help T.T

Chronon:
It sounds like you're asking for help with fonts for the original firmware.

tyip0217:
would it be possible to add the fonts back on?
I'm using rockbox now

Chronon:
I moved the topic since you aren't asking about installation.

Did you install the font pack?  Did you select a font that contains the necessary glyphs?

Consult this page: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/UnicodeGuide

We technically don't support the Gigabeat S-series yet.

Hi, thanks for the link, I had the fonts pack installed already but didn't realized some support non-Latin fonts and some does, works fine after I changes to 16-GNU-Unifont, not sure others will still work tho
