how to change char-set?

hello

anyone knows how to change the char-set of the VMRockbox?
I tryed it but it told me that i require superuser privilege.

Try prepending 'sudo' to the command.

i get an error when i try that:

-bash: sudo: command not found

Sorry, according to linky you're supposed to run 'su' and then run the command.
