Samsung YP-K3
« on: November 14, 2008, 05:46:30 PM »
I've seen this player quite a bit in the wild since I bought it from a friend, I read somewhere that someone was already working on a port for a player with the same cpu (that would be ARM946E?-S CPU core 120MHz, 64K SRAM) copied from the wiki.

I've searched through the forums and the site and haven't been able to find a teardown yet, and while I'm not a programmer or an engineer, was wondering if flatbed scans of this player could potentially help anyone.

I'm smart enough to know that unless I do the work (which would require many years of learning I'd think), then this player is likely to never be supported; but if it helps this project (rockbox as a whole) along I'd be happy to tear it down.  You guys made a huge believer out of me last night after I finally got rb installed on my sansa e250.
