cant find ipod error

<< < (2/6) > >>

Chronon:
I don't think that's the name of the Rockbox Utility binary (in linux it's rbutilqt, but I think it's called the same for OSX).

Have you enabled disk use in iTunes?

firespike8:
Yes and i didn't know thats how you type it in,  i'll try it in binary.
sudo ./rbutilqt
Password:
sudo: ./rbutilqt: command not found
 ??? ??? ???

Chronon:
Are you executing that command in the right directory?  It sounds like you executed it in a different directory from where you saved the Rockbox Utility.

You also didn't mention about whether you have enabled disk use in iTunes or not.

firespike8:
What do you mean about directory's (maby an example)? Oh and yes disk use is enabled.

Chronon:
If it says command not found it means that it can't find the program.  You told your system to look explicitly in the current directory for a program called "rbutilqt".  Is there an executable program called that in the current directory?

Also, did you unmount your iPod before trying to install the bootloader?
