cant find ipod error

<< < (4/6) > >>

Chronon:
It's a standard unix program that lists the contents of a directory (by default the current directory): http://unixhelp.ed.ac.uk/CGI/man-cgi?ls

I'm just trying to verify the name of the Rockbox Utility program file since when you typed sudo ./rbutilqt in the terminal it complained about not finding the command.

I have to go catch a bus.  Hopefully we can make our way through this a bit later.

Sorry but I think I might just give up on rockbox altogether it seems way too complicated, and im just taking up your time...

Chronon:
Okay.  Your call. . .

The instructions in the manual will work if you follow them carefully.

firespike8:
Sorry I was getting a little frustrated if you still wanna help you can....

Chronon:
Try this:

1. Make a new folder in a convenient place on your computer.
2. Extract the contents of rbutilqt-v1-1.0.7.dmg to that location.
3. Open a terminal and navigate to the folder that you created.
4. Type ls at the terminal prompt and paste the output to a message here.  (This is just to describe what files are now in that folder/directory.)
