Bookmark failed - Sansa E200 rockbox 3.0

When I stop/exit a track, I get "bookmark failed", but sometimes it resumes, and other times it starts from the beginning.

Also there is a lag on fast forward, it catches up after a few seconds, but I have to guess where it will be. I didn't notice this with the previous version, and may try a downgrade.

Why not try a current build rather than the release version?

As well, we'll need more information about what types of files you're playing, and how you're playing them, and what settings you may have changed from the defaults.

i used the build 3.0 that rockboxutil installed.

It's mostly working now, I previously did an upgrade with the util, I wiped everything, re-installed and everything, inc ff/rew seems to be working fine.

it still says  bookmark failed, but it sets the bookmark fine.  fingers crossed. I'll have a play with the emu.

Yes, and there have been some changes since 3.0 was released, which is why I've asked that you try the current build instead of the release version, to see if it has the same problems...
