You didn't. You pulled it from "current build" page.

My bad.  I'll try again and repost.  THANKS!

Danoid,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.  I can't help much with the technicalities but just thought I'd mention that we have two Sansa 280's running RB 3.0 with no problems -- to date.

Hope you get it worked out!

Well, now the version says r18607-3.0-080923

but it still doesn't advance at the end of the album.

My directory structure

Music
    Artist
         Album

I've created the random_folder_advance_config list with the plugin, but haven't exported the text list.

Playback settings
Shuffle no
Repeat off
Play selected first yes
Auto-Change Directory random

I did not wipe all the files when reloading the 3.0 release build, just loaded on top.

I don't have playlists of the individual albums set up, never dealt with the little buggers don't want to learn, that's what a directory is for.

You didn't mention the result of the filesystem check.

No issues found.  But now the darn thing doesn't show up as a drive any more.  On connection, it reverts back to the OEM screen but never shows 'connected.'

I'm considering percussive maintenance.

**EDIT**
OK I figured it out.  If I navigate to a file and play it, the random auto advance appears to work.  However, if I use the dabase, and play an album playback stops at the end of the album.

Everything appears to function as advertised, just not as I expected.  What then is the function of the database?
