i can´t make reproduce video

hi, i have a i pod classic of 30gb. And i can´t make it to play videos. I convert with a lots of programs to mp4 to see, but nothing, just jump into the reproduced screen of music, someone can help me?
i think that with itunes i could but somebody told me not to do it.

Rockbox doesn't support MP4 video.  It only supports MPEG1 and MPEG2.  See the PluginMpegplayer wiki page.

ok, now i can see videos (yaii),,,but, when i see it, some times jumps, like, little but jump , so it is normal or not? i put a mpeg 1 y mpeg 2 and see the same with the little jump.

That's because your player isn't powerful enough to play video at the framerate your video is encoded at.

Look at the "Performance" table on the wiki page and lower the framerate accordingly.

As a note, you do not have an ipod classic.  The classic is the newest version (6th generation) that comes in 80, 120 and 160 GB sizes.

Also, this isn't an (un)installation question.  I have moved it.
