Windows only recognizes SD card slot, not internal storage

(1/1)

aichpvee:
Ever since upgrading my Sansa e240 to Rockbox 3 only the SD card slot is recognized by windows when I plug it in via USB.  It had been working perfectly for over a year with Rockbox 2, now I can't even downgrade to see if that would fix the problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this?  Either on the Sansa or in windows?

Chronon:
I don't think this has to do with the Rockbox build per se.  USB is handled by the SanDisk firmware.  If you're not seeing the internal storage then maybe there's a problem with the OF.  Does recovery mode work properly?

Llorean:
Also as a note, "3.0" is a very specific version of Rockbox. All later versions are not "Rockbox 3" they're just later builds of Rockbox  with their own SVN versions.

All previous versions were not "Rockbox 2", they were just builds of Rockbox with their own SVN versions.

Release numbers are numbers for specific releases, not categories like how "Windows 95" covers that version of windows, and all its later updates. They do not cover later updates with Rockbox.
