Sansa e280 boot problem

(1/1)

TechGuy:
My son uses his e280 over a year without any problem. Few days ago, he connected to our new Vista PC and used Media Player to sync the music file. Quite a few music files were transferred to his e280. He used the e280 for a few hours. Suddenly, it continuously boots to the SanDisk logo and restart.

I tried to use the recovery mode to reformat it using sansa.fmt file. As soon as I connected the cable, it entered and exited the USB2.0 MSD mode within 1 - 2 seconds.  It did not stop at the 16MB removable drive to allow me to add the sansa.fmt file.

Anyone know what is the problem with my e280.  TIA
