Ipod not fully detected unless I reboot

Hi there,

I have been using Rockbox on my IPod 5th generation with a lot of pleasure and no problem for a few weeks but now, without having changed anything I think, the following issue arises:
- when I plug my Ipod, it is detected but the disk that show the file browser open my PC (Win XP) cannot be opened and the rockbow screen remains unchanged on the Ipod, which keeps working as if unplugged.
- If I reboot the Ipod first, it connects properly.

What could that be? Did I do something wrong?

I would like to thank in advance anyone who could help me sort this out!

Rockbox doesn't have a USB mode yet on your DAP.  When you plug in USB, it should reboot to Apple emergency disk mode.  Unfortunately this is intermittently buggy.   As you have discovered, a work around is to reset it manually before plugging in.

PS - This isn't an install/uninstall question.
