Hello all,
I recently received a Sansa E200 from "EvilNick". Said player produced no sound from the left channel.
Upon inspection I found that the solder pad had lifted from the PCB.
I have no experience with re-attaching solder pads and was wondering if anyone had some tried and true methods they would be willing to share with me on what the best procedure to attempt this is.
I have attached a color coded image of the are in question. The YELLOW rectangle shows where the solder pad was. The GREEN line shows positive continuity tests for the other two "legs" of the headphone SMC jack. Finally, the RED line shows where I presume there was a trace though I'm not 100% sure.
Any and all opinions on how to proceed are greatly appreciated.
