Find a program that will convert iTunes' xml playlists into standard m3u playlists that Rockbox reads.

There are a couple of tools listed on the UsefulTools page.  You might find some others with a Google search.

I just tried AMOK--it's great!  It addresses some of the issue that we discussed in another thread.

This isn't really a Rockbox question - Rockbox uses standard m3u files, and methods of converting to them is not Rockbox specific.

An m3u file is just a text file with a list of files.  Rockbox can create them (see the manual), as can any other program worth its salt.

Not intending to go off-topic here, but if it's still easier for you to convert your itunes playlists for using Rockbox than remaking them, AMOK might work for that and it's not difficult to use (although the program doesn't have a "help" yet!). However, the tracks on your iPod MUST have the same folder structure you have for the same tracks in your computer under itunes (or fairly similar to easily edit the converted playlist). If that's the case, first use "export song list" from itunes, and then in AMOK choose "add playlist", than go to the folder where you saved the itunes exported playlist (file type must be itunes playlist), and once loaded, choose "copy->copy playlist only"

Edit: the program DOES have a "help"... aber nur auf Deutsch
