need help

I installed Rockbox on my 5g 30g ipod video. Game work, themes work. Songs do not work, pictures don't work. Can anyone give me some help?

Will give more information if needed.

Do you get an error message?
What sort of songs?
What version of Rockbox did you install, from where, and how?

I got into my database, find a song, play it, it'll show

and no sound will come out.

Not sure what you mean by what sort of songs.

Version r18607-3.0-080923, is what is says on my ipod.

I don't believe so, i took some off cds, and downloaded some. None are from the itunes store.

If i copy and paste my songs into my ipod, they play, and i can play them from the Files section.

Is that fine to do? Can i still shuffle them and all that?

Edit: Actually, i dunno what happened now i can play it in my database.
Is there anyway to shuffle ALL my songs and play them?

Got it working.
Went to my root direction in Files, made a playlist, now i got Files - > Root and it'll shuffle all my songs and play.
