song volume equilizer
« on: October 25, 2008, 02:09:30 PM »
Is it possible to have rockbox detect quiet tracks and bring their volume up to match the other ones? I'm tired of raising the volume and then haveing my ears blasted on the next song.

This is what ReplayGain does.  Rockbox fully supports it.
Give it a google, you'll need to scan your music with a third party app.  I suggest Foobar2000 for windows users.

I also recommend it for linux users, under wine.
