iPod Crashes :(
Chronon:
Does this happen for all file types? If not what kind of files are they?
cool_walking_:
Do you mean that the screen is black, or blank?
Are you sure the screen is completely blank/black? Even if the backlight is off, the LCD may still be on and displaying something, which should be visible under a light.
Even though your iPod is 80GB, could you try installing a 30GB iPod Video build?
ado:
Nah, it's blacked out. I've put the screen into a light to check if anything at all is on, but it's not.
Also, when it first started crashing, it'd say like 'Data Error At ######' and then some numbers and letters. Now, I think, it just crashes.
And I don't know how I'd install a 30GB iPod Video build, the RockBox Utility only has one option for both 30/80GB.
And Chronon, it happens for .flac and .mp3 files. Not sure about others, those are the only kinds of files i have on my iPod.
GodEater:
The options are for a 30GB iPod Video, or a 60/80GB iPod Video.
Choose the 30GB one.
bluebrother:
Use the autodetection button, that will never detect the 80GB one but use the 30GB instead (due to the similarities of those players it's impossible to distinguish them upon detection as of now).
