A *single* band not appearing in rockbox, appears in iPod default
« on: October 21, 2008, 06:29:58 PM »
I have a 4th generation iPod Photo. Rockbox works 100% fine... except it will not show any tracks by Mindless Self Indulgence. They play fine with any software on my computer; if I reboot to Apple's firmware every track plays just fine. Any idea what the issue is? I've updated the database 2 times and tried to reinit it.

Do they appear as untagged?  Maybe there's a problem with the metadata.

Nope, don't appear under untagged.

What kind of files are they and what kind of tags do they have?  You can check with a PC application that handles metadata tags (e.g. MP3Tag or any similar application).

What is shown if you play those files from the file browser? The tags showing up in the apple firmware tells almost nothing as that relies on its own database which isn't generated from the files on the player (itunes generates this).
