while recording, how do I get the real time counter to show?

ok, mine isn't showing line 1 then.

Could it be a corrupted (cfg) file or something? Should I delete all the files currently on there and reload the v3 again? I've never actually deleted anything other than my music files, but any update I've done to the rockbox software I copied over the existing files.

There sure seems to be a lot of extra stuff on my recording screen from others that I have seen.  Is that normal?
